Carlo Guffanti Fiori and his sons Giovanni and Davide are responsible for the overall business management and delicate process of search and selection of cheeses.
In this position dealing with all aspects of corporate life by harnessing the considerable wealth of knowledge and expertise developed over the years.
Luigi began his business by taking over an abandoned silver mine in Valganna, in which to age the first cheeses. He also founded the winery in Arona under a bastion of the city walls, in a space initially meant for military use and converted into a winery. With his sons Carlo and Mario, Guffanti cheeses began to follow in the footsteps of the Lombard and Piedmontese emigrants who were flowing to America in the early 1900s.
Today Carlo, Giovanni and Davide, cheese breeders, manage the evolution of their cheese in a new space in Arona: here the winery is a second terroir, the refinement a phase of rebirth.
