Nature, peace and design: discover Lake Orta

Lago d’Orta, also known under its Latin name of “Cusio” is situated between the Valsesia and Lago Maggiore.
Lago d’Orta is considered the most romantic lake in Italy and it is surrounded by a charming landscape, scattered with old stone houses.
The town of Omegna lies at the north mouth of the lake. It is renowned worldwide for its design label companies, for example Alessi, Lagostina and Bialetti, and for water taps manufacturers, such as Nobili and Fantini.
The historic town of Orta seems as if time has stood still; here you can walk along medieval streets or enjoy the “Way of Silence” on San Giulio Island; then you can visit the chapels on Sacro Monte dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi and included in UNESCO World Heritage list. You will live an unforgettable experience!
